Create A Bonsai Workshop
Ever wanted to try something completely different? Great! Learn a new skill and proudly take your bonsai home to impress your friends. Run by local bonsai class expert Julia Griffin who will take you every step of the way. She will greet you in the events room where you will spend 2 hours learning everything about bonsai trees and creating your own.
You will be shown how to turn a small tree into a bonsai by pruning, wiring and potting. Then it's your turn to choose a tree and use your newly acquired skills to create a bonsai.
All the trees, soil, wire, pots and equipment will be provided, you'll have everything you need to create your very own bonsai whilst Julia will be on hand to help as much as you wish.
The group size will be small and you can work individually or as a team.
You also receive after-care tips so that you can keep and develop your trees for many years. Ideal for friends, colleagues, families or anyone wishing to learn something new in a fun, friendly and informal setting.
Tea and Coffee will also be provided.
